“In any relationship, when you go through any big change, you struggle to find your new constellation, your new ground. It takes a while to determine what the new relationship between you is. I could relate to that. That got to me immediately.” 

Bucky to me was always interesting because he stood out more clearly in terms of someone who had flaws. And though he was extremely loyal and very caretaking, and there were a lot of endearing qualities about him, that there were other things that like any muscle that you work out too much could sort of take over the rest. So, there were other things about him I was always hoping you could see in that first movie that if they sort of amplified that, that he could become something dangerous, necessarily so.

I really like the idea of a retro future, I like the idea of combining elements of the past and elements of the future into a look, because you kinda get this image that’s timeless and it doesn’t belong to anything. 

Only Robb and baby Rickon were still here, and Robb was changed. He was Robb the Lord now, or trying to be. He wore a real sword and never smiled.
